: based on what? /yes"thankfully" you have some people who agree with you. but gérant can mean managing director despite your unsupported disagreement. absolutism isn't a great approach in translating.

Based on the two words in this context i.e. the fact that "séance" in this case = "meeting" and "gérant" = manager. When merged together, they make the term "managerial meeting". Thankfully others agree with my suggestion.
