French term
faire votre plein
French to English
Marketing
Marketing
Sales
Again in this text on service stations. I'm looking for inspiration for the final sentence:
Chez ****, vous pouvez donc faire bien plus que votre plein."
At the moment, I've come up with the rather lame ""Filling up with **** offers you so much more...", but I feel there must be some clever word play with fill out there. I did toy with "Filling up with **** more than fills the bill", but it doesn't quite work for me, because, although "fill the bill" does exist as an expression, "fit the bill" is much more common to my ears.
If anyone has any brainwaves, I'd love to hear them!
Many thanks again.

Comment: "Whilst I very much enjoyed some of the suggestions made, none of them quite hit the right register here, so I ended up leaving my initial suggestion (to which this is closest!) and deciding that less was definitely more in this particular case. Many thanks to you all."

Note from asker:
Thanks, but if you read my explanation, you'll see it's quite clear that I know what the term "faire le plain" means; that's why I put "faire votre plein".... |

: This is correct, but we're really looking for a translation of the whole sentence.

**** offers a good deal more than just filling your tank (+ more ideas)
OR
As well as filling your tank, **** offers a good deal more
At ****, it's not just your (petrol) tank that will be satisfied
______
It depends on whether that "a good deal" is seen as "strong" enough (or too subtle!) for marketing purposes

Sorry, I can't help lowering the tone once in a while...
It's the "ain't" that gives this slogan its (dubious) appeal.

All they've mentioned is convenience stores (perhaps mini supermarkets in some cases).
