Italian to English Bus/Financial Human Resources

I'm not sure in this case it is simply a letter of appointment. In the document I'm translating it refers the this letter or more than one letter that an person signs (a consultant or with co co pro contract) at the beginning of their employment, and these letters may be updated and signed again at a later date. This is a company which processes information databases including personal information.
