As I'm sure you're aware, εκσεσημασμένη can be translated in various ways according to context.
εκσεσημασμένη + name of disease (as you can see on IATE, for instance) often corresponds to a word beginning with hyper- in English. Obviously that doesn't work here, so I decided to look for the specific context of acne.

The Greek seems to echo a form of wording quite often used in English.
