A un certo punto dice, parlando della tecnologia esistente per la produzione di tali pastiglie "The most well-known include those which make it possible to obtain oral lyophilisate, matrixes by compression of saccharide based shearform floss particles and films or wafers".
Non riesco a trovare una traduzione formale x shearform floss particles (forse è shear-form??).

Scusate ma il contesto non mi convince. Dai riferimenti già forniti si deduce che floss si identifica con matrix, almeno a livello commerciale. Ma c'è una sottile differenza prechè la matrice è formata da floss, fili o filamenti. Nella frase originale matrice è già presente a monte e forse varrebbe la pena di valutare una traduzione più onerosa ma più conforme al testo.
