French term
faire vivre un savoir-faire
French to English
Marketing
Advertising / Public Relations
It's obvious what they mean by this, but I'm looking for typical marketing terminology. The same Marketing Managers for a luxury wine brand in my other questions are asked what they really need to be effective in their job:
"j’ajouterais la passion et l'envie de faire vivre un savoir-faire, un
métier, un produit."
Thanks!

to nurture a certain savoir-faire, craftsmanship
I think I would keep savoir-faire in the En. If you feel the need to replace it, then "expertise" would get my vote. I think "nurturing" conveys the idea of "faire vivre".

the desire to bring your know-how to life and to live and breathe the business and the brand/product
Bit OTT maybe, but I suppose it's about conveying enthusiasm.

to keep alive a knowledge, a craft, a product
I thought that the knowledge exists alreasy (since it's about a luxury wine) so it's about keeping it alive, not bringing it to life.
As for "craft", I wanted it to sound traditional: since it's about very wine (again ..), we all associate it with tradition, with knowledge passed from generation to generation.
Hope it helps!

: A more sophisticated turn of phrase, so gets my agree, though I would drop the 'a' before knowledge, and before craft, too.
