English term

non-paper

English to Spanish Social Sciences Advertising / Public Relations
. "There was a time when the Times had little competition," says he. "TV didn't exist, the newsweeklies weren't much, the Washington Post was a non-paper."

Discussion

Jennifer Levey Nov 27, 2008:
It would help if you could tell us what period in history is referred to here ('there was a time...'). It was presumably pre-WW2 (no TV); if it refers to the late 19th century or pre-WW1 the inuendo would be different compared to later decades.

Suerte.
