give somebody a ring

"Give somebody a buzz" is used, but mostly by a previous generation (i.e. my mom's generation).
If you wanted to go modern hip hop, you would say "to hit somebody up" (but I'm not sure you want to go that route :)

Give someone a jingle

Szerintem a "jingle" meginkabb visszaadja a "csorget" hangulatat, mint a "ring", bar elobbi is hasznalatos.
