: Only for the record: this would mean very little to a UK English speaker.

Secondary School Certificate (Humanities)
Secondary School Certificate/Diploma with orientation in Humanities
Note from asker:

: It's 'A' Level in British English, that is the qualification officially recognised as the equivalent to 'Bachillerato'

: Bachellor of Arts is a university degree. The Bachillerato is taken before going to university

Eqivalent to 'A' Level in Humanities
Sorry, I know this question is closed....but 'High School' doesn't exist in the UK education system. The Bachillerato is the exam you take at 18 years of age, before going to university, which in the UK are your 'A' Levels. I had to translate my CV into Spanish for my current job, and for my 'A' Levels I put 'Equivalente al Bachillerato'. I can't believe nobody else from the UK spotted this.

Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_level the part containing overview and history. Reference to A level as being equal to the 'European Baccalaureate', also known, in Spanish as 'Bachillerato'
