q.b. bedeutet, wie schon Margherita sagte, "quanto basta".
In der deutschen Küche würde man in diesem Fall sagen "nach Bedarf". Wenn es um Salz/Pfeffer usw. gehen würden, würde ich eher "nach Geschmack" sagen
