The Moroccan and the American – Thami and Nelson – prepared tea, after some majoun. They’re already under the effect of it. Thami says to his friend, “Hak. Take your tea.”

(apparently, nelson is a bit slow in understanding what is said to him, because he doesn't really notice Thami is handing him the tea. We have “hak” in Turkish too – obviously! – but it's used rather as "Allah" or as what may be regarded as "for god's sake")
