Russian term

Кедровая

Russian to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
This term appears in a text message. I think the two people are Lithuanian.

Я у XXX в гостях пьем Кедровую.

I've searched but I cannot find any drink with a name like this. There could be a spelling mistake as there have been with other messages.

Thank you very much

agree Adieu : pine-nut flavoured vodka, but it is a brand name in this case (which you may or may not want to explain, I would probably use [translator's note - in square brackets])

pine nut vodka

Just a thought: they probably use "кедровые орехи" (pine nuts) rather than cedar wood, although I've no real idea of the technology.
