Hi Sam. I think the difference could be that one of them (most probably الربوخ) is an electrical not manual device. But the concept is the same, this is at least what I've been told. Of course I didn't guess it by myself ;) I'm not sure though if there is any difference.

Turned out the this is a thicknesser and that the فأرة is the planer

agree Ahmed Dahman : Imane is right. I saw that tool before here in Egypt and it's called Raboh "ربوه". It's the same as Farah but a very big one for a heavy duty.
