Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / clinical research
French term or phrase: autant d'indications thérapeutiques
From a sociology article on clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry.

Les résultats issus de ces essais de phase III permettent de déterminer le champ d'application du nouveau médicament, la posologie adéquate, les effets secondaires, etc. ***Autant d'indications thérapeutiques et de contre-indications qui sont synthétisées dans le "Résumé des Caractéristiques du Produit" (RCP), auquel tout patient ou médecin peut se référer en lisant la notice inclus dans les boites de médicaments.

I know that "autant de" is a reference to the previous sentence, but I'm having trouble linking the two (brain is no longer working. Any suggestions?

-> You're technically right, but consider the "etc" in the source phrase. Here the phrase is standard journalese used when providing examples, not giving exact correspondence.
