Buenos días.
Tengo que traducir al inglés una sentencia del tribunal de modelo comunitario español (Alicante) en la cual aparece la descripción de un modelo que tiene "pestiños triangulares". Aquí tienen el enlace hacía la sentencia, para q puedan ver el dibujo del modelo del que se trata: http://oami.europa.eu/pdf/design/cdcourts/Panini2.pdf Me gustaría saber cómo puedo traducir esta palabra ("pestiño").

DRAE gives this definition:
pestiño.(Del lat. pistus, majado, batido).1. m. Fruta de sartén, hecha con porciones pequeñas de masa de harina y huevos batidos, que después de fritas en aceite se bañan con miel.

As you can see, they're these little twisted sweet pastries. You can have fun making up a tasty-sounding name for them...

If it's a gameboard piece, they call the Trivial Pursuit ones "quesitos" and we usually say "slice/piece" of pie or cake...

Thanks a lot for your answer...and the pic! Unfortunately, what I'm dealing with here is a "gameboard piece", with a specific shape I have to describe in English, which is made of these "pestiños". Maybe this other link to the OHIM webpage would work on your PC. It refers to the design the sentence is concerned with: http://oami.europa.eu/RCDOnline/RequestManager.
Or maybe, if it doesn't work (since it seems to be quite a general link), look for the design number 000110648 on this webpage: http://oami.europa.eu/RCDOnline/RequestManager (I think it's the same page, sorry I cannot give you the direct link to the design).
I think I won't find that translation in a dictionary, it seems to me it's too concrete. This is why I need an English native speaker.
