Norwegian term

lagget

Norwegian to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) balance sheet
It's on a very abbreviated balance sheet, next to the price/earnings ratio - it simply says "lagget". Any ideas?

lagged

This could well be a Norwegianisation of the English word lag (behind), used in financial circles about shares not keeping up with the general or average market development.
Peer comment(s):

agree Bjørnar Magnussen : "Lagged" is a term from statistics and here it means that the price/earnings for year T+1 (e.g. 2006) is based on earnings from T (e.g. 2005). For year T, it will be impossible to calculate the ratio without data from T-1 (e.g. 2004).
