Change log

May 27, 2006 17:13: Marek Buchtel changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

PRO (1): lingua chick

Non-PRO (3): Pavel Blann, Jan Kolbaba, Marek Buchtel

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Pavel Blann May 20, 2006:
And PRO???
Marek Buchtel May 20, 2006:
microbiology? :-)
jsmn23 (asker) May 20, 2006:
Sorry for my mistake again yes, I would like to say '' I didn't want to make any problem for you. I know you are a good guy.
Radovan Pletka May 20, 2006:
Your English is not clear. You didn't want to have any problems with him or you didn't want to make any problems for him.
Also the second sentence - you want to say I know you are a good guy?

You could also say:
"Omlouvám se, jestli jsem Ti způsobila nějaké problémy. Vím, že jsi príma."
Peer comment(s):

neutral Radovan Pletka : you may mention that the response is in feminine spoken form, this may be of interest to the male asker (smile). Also prima for a good guy is not exactly accurate. Good guy is slusny clovek, not necessarily prima

Thanks, I think the Asker is female since she is saying "I think, you're a good guy" :-)
