English term

wether in berth or not

English to Spanish Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping shipping arrangements

Such notices shall be affected during normal business hours, "wether in berth or not".

En cualquier caso, I´m clueless here.

Discussion

Daniel Burns (X) Nov 6, 2005:
Apparently "affected" instead of "effected" is another error.
Robert Forstag Nov 6, 2005:
Does the text in question deal with the transport of things, or of people? "Wether" is an error for "whether" which simply means introduced two alternatives for the purpose of indicating that a given case applies if either is true ("sea...o" in Spanish).
Daniel Burns (X) Nov 6, 2005:
It should definitely be "whether or not".
