Discussion

Julie Roy (asker) Oct 21, 2005:
Context is always a good thing, so I just asked the client for some: it is for the 125th anniversary of a large men's, upscale clothing store.
Armorel Young Oct 21, 2005:
If there is no context, what is the situation you require it for?
Julie Roy (asker) Oct 21, 2005:
I have no context. Sorry.
Armorel Young Oct 21, 2005:
There can't be no context whatsoever - there must be some situation in which this has arisen and a subject to which it relates.
Julie Roy (asker) Oct 21, 2005:
I apologize for the lack of context: there is none whatsoever.
David Hollywood Oct 21, 2005:
could you provide us with a little more context Julie?
Ulrike Kraemer Oct 21, 2005:
How about some context?

125 years young / 125 years new

Either might work, depending on context. (This is not a common expression in German, so it would be okay to use an equally uncommon expression in English.)
