French term

solvabilité reconnue

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
The term is in a contract, referring to a performance bond for the contract. The context is: "Cette garantie devra être émise par une banque de premier ordre dont la solvabilité est reconnue en Espagne." Good financial standing?

Thankyou to everyone who gave me suggestions -- your time and effort is much appreciated. I think all the answers had their merits but I felt none of them was quite appropriate enough. Thanks again.

French term (edited): solvabilit reconnue

whose solvency is acknowledged

From what I've read, when it's talking about a bank, solvabilité means its solvency rather than something like creditworthiness or simply financial standing.

This bond should be issued by an established/reputable bank "whose solvency is recognized in Spain."
