In any one day, three work three eight-hour shifts while the fourth rests. Thus each miner works for six days and has two days off. ... The authorities claim that the four-brigade system was intended to improve conditions of work and enable miners to plan their days off in advance. The critics -- and they include the local bishop -- claim that it does not operate to the miner's advantage since they are no longer guaranteed free Sundays and have less opportunity for overtime. https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1980/09/02/m... PKN Orlen (Polish Petroleum Consortium Orlen) has announced its plan to reduce number of jobs by 200 by establishing voluntary dismissal programme. The reason for this is the planned change in work organization from five into a four-brigade system at the beginning of 2015. https://www.eurofound.europa.eu/observatories/emcc/erm/facts... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2020-09-08 15:49:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The four-brigade system, which saw three brigades of miners working eight hour shifts six days a week in exchange for two days off on different days of theweek, arguably provides the clearest example of this. https://ueaeprints.uea.ac.uk/id/eprint/59393/1/2015HarrisGPh... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2020-09-08 19:48:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- System czterobrygadowy - co to jest? |
