Judging the translation of the translation judges Mar 20, 2002

Paola: Here\'s this situation regarding the compentence of a translator in a quasi or even straight-out legal circumstance in which the judgment itself appears in two languages and the players get into the the nitty-gritty of competence. It would be a nightmare to be in such a situation. I was fascinated to see the level of legal argument applied to translation competence.

It\'s just interesting per se.
