Welcome to my profile.
I am a native Spanish speaker translator with more than 5 years of experience, and 25 years of volunteering in the education field.
I studied translation at UMSA, but I made a pause in my career to raise my family, which, I believe, is a career in itself. During that time, I used my free time to volunteer, and now I'm fully back to work.
Over the past three years, I've been updating my knowledge by taking courses in legal, medical, and audiovisual translation.
I'm presently studying for a Diploma in Audiovisual translation at UTN (National Technological University), which includes captioning for the hard of hearing, audio description for the visually impaired (which I find fascinating), and dubbing.
