My name is Martina Agnes. I am Italian- Canadian. I live in Rome, Italy.
I have always taken Languages in my school carrer. I attended a Foreing Language Specialized High School in Rome where I achived Level B2 Dele and Delf certifications.
In March 2011, I graduated in Conference Interpreting Studies at Libera Università degli Studi per l'Innovazione e le Organizzazioni (LUSPIO), in Rome, that is one of the Universities that are part of the prestigious International Permanent Conference of University Institutes of Translators and Interpreters (also known as CIUTI) and since then I have done several Medical translations and Legal translation.
I have attended, during my University career, several courses in Translation studies to have a more complete vision and experience in this field.
In May 2009 - I worked, as a volunteer, at the Accreditation Centre for the final match of the UEFA Champions League in Rome.
From November 2010 to March 2011 - I worked in the Public Affairs Section of a prominent Embassy in Rome, Italy where a great portion of my work included translations and interpreting.
From September 2011 to December 2011 - I worked in the "IT for Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research” section of the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) where, for the purpose of this curriculum vitae, I translated many books on the Holocaust.
From March 2012 to Present- I am currently working in the Curriculum Planning Branch of the NATO Defence College where I am assisting in the organization of the General, Flag Officers and Ambassadors course (NATO GFOAC 2012-1).
