My educational background:
BA in Information Technology in Business Administration; 1st year BA translation which even though I was the top students at the university, and received a scholarship but couldn't continue due to the conflicts in Aleppo. When I was in Armenia for Summer vacation, the airport closed and since 2012 I was not able to go back home. Therefore, I couldn't return, and continue my degree. In 2019, I got MS Multidisciplinary Studies (SUNY, New York University) International School Teachings. I love learning languages, and getting familiar with different cultures.
Since I was 12, I had the habit to interpret and translate for tourists, business letters for our business, and I would transcribe songs, news, movies, and more.
Since 2003 till present, I have been teaching at different International schools with English the language of instruction. In addition to teaching, I had to translate and interpret conversations and letters in between languages. Therefore, I got familiar with different cultures, traditions, the ways of thinking.
For two years, since 2013-2015, I was hired by the Municipality of Yerevan as an interpreter for the delegations who were in Armenia for the birthday of the capital Yerevan for a few days.
I can consider myself familiar to translating but at the same time new to this world. But, I love it, and I am a committed, and responsible person. I am ready to give it all, learn, and grow.
