My name is Marta Głowacka-Escoté. I have always been keen on learning foreign languages.I think that this is not only a tool of communication. The knowledge of foreign languages allows us to think similarly to the native speakers and to know better the culture as the language is a part of it. I had been learning English, French, German for many years. I have got Certificate in Advanced English (CAE). Then I chose to study Iberian Studies at the University of Warsaw. After finishing the Bachelor’s Degree I decided to do my master's degree in the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw with major in specialised translation (Polish-Spanish, Spanish-Polish). At the same time I finished Qualification Methodological Course for Spanish Teachers in Mazovia Center of Teachers Improvement in Warsaw. At present I prepare myself for sworn Spanis-Polish translator exam and I study Catalan. I like the most literary and audiovisual translations but I translate as well technical and economic texts and contracts.
