Scrivo per raccomandare Milena L. al suo NOME DEL CORSO presso la vostra NOME DELL'UNIVERSITA'. Milena L. è stata mia allieva di recitazione presso l’Accademia Teatrale Veneta di Venezia negli anni scolastici 2013/2014 e 2014/2015. Nel primo cicli di lezioni, che comprendevano una ricerca drammaturgica e una lettura del testo di Luigi Squarzina “Tre quarti di luna”, ho potuto apprezzare le capacità di Milena di lavorare sulla parola: in particolare di rendere efficacemente la relazione tra intenzione e precisione di articolazione e pronuncia (lo specifico del mio lavoro è proprio il teatro di parola), con una spiccata attitudine verso il realismo.
L’anno successivo, anno del diploma, abbiamo lavorato su materiali inerenti alla Prima Guerra Mondiale, in collaborazione con l’insegnante di maschera Michele M. Casarin, in una collaudata proposta didattica che coniuga il lavoro ritmico della maschera con quello della parola poetica. In questo caso il lavoro fisico ha evidenziato la qualità mimetica dell’allieva , che si è distinta nella trasformazione corporea e vocale, creando diverse figure molto dissimili e molto efficaci. Il lavoro comprendeva inoltre un periodo di tirocinio pedagogico, nel quale Milena ha mostrato di saper trasmettere, e quindi di conoscere, le tecniche di base fisiche e vocali. Ritengo che la prosecuzione di un lavoro pedagogico possa essere di grande importanza per la giovane attrice, che ha sempre mostrato, opportunamente stimolata, ampi spazi di crescita artistica.

During the first series of lectures, which included both a dramaturgical research and a reading of the play “Tre quarti di luna” by Luigi Squarzina, I could observe Milena’s ability to work on the word: especially, she was able to effectively convey the relation between the intention and the precision of enunciation and pronunciation (my work is, in fact, focused on the theatre of the word) with a strong predisposition towards realism.
The following year, the graduation year, we worked in partnership with the mask teacher, Michele M. Casarin, on materials regarding the First World War, in a qualified didactic proposal which combines the rhythmic work of the mask with that of poetical words. In this case, the physical work highlighted the mimetic traits of the pupil, who distinguished herself for both corporeal and vocal transformation, creating several characters very different and very effective. The work also involved a period of educational internship, in which Milena demonstrated to be able to transmit, and hence to know, both physical and vocal core techniques.
I believe the continuation of the work of learning her craft would be of great importance for the young actress, who has always shown, when given the opportunity, an ample capacity for artistic growth.

mi scuso per il lungo silenzio e mi auguro che lei goda di buona salute.
Nonostante non si sia ancora capito che cosa affligga mia moglie (noi pensiamo diverticolite), i medici locali le hanno somministrato una "cura" a base di purganti/fluidificanti che con il riposo (poi imposto dalla quarantena) ha fatto effetto per un po', anche se il male non è stato, di fatto curato, ed ora è insorto di nuovo. Siccome siamo ancora a casa, non è un gran problema: mia moglie sta a riposo e cerca di seguire una dieta ricca di fibre e liquidi che l'aiuti a ridurre l'infiammazione. Nel frattempo, io ho subito una ricaduta con l'intolleranza verso l'uovo crudo.
A dire il vero me la sono andata a cercare: mia moglie ha preparato il tiramisù e si è accorta solo in corso d'opera che l'uovo non viene cucinato in nessun momento e resta crudo. Io, considerando che, dall'episodio per cui lei mi trattò, non ho più' avuto problemi a consumarlo, per quanto sempre e solo in forma limitata e ben cotto, non mi sono trattenuto e ne ho divorato una buona porzione. Nonostante mi fossi premunito di bere abbondantemente acqua in modo da purificare il mio organismo, non sono stato molto fortunato e l'indomani (ormai un mese fa) ho iniziato a starnutire. Pensando, sulle prime, trattarsi di un raffreddore, l'ho curato come tale per un paio di giorni; poi siccome non passava ed essendomi accorto di un lieve rossore e gonfiore sul volto, ho intuito si trattasse di un'allergia o di una reazione di qualche tipo e ho preso un antistaminico. Nonostante questo abbia annullato di colpo gli starnuti non ha prodotto grandi effetti sul rossore, che, anzi, è aumentato e si è propagato al collo in forma di macchie. Non riuscendo ad ottenere un appuntamento dal mio medico curante (causa emergenza coronavirus) mi sono rivolto al farmacista che mi ha raccomandato di seguire con l'antistaminico e mi ha prescritto una crema a base di Idrocortisone da utilizzare sul rossore. Dopo circa una settimana quasi tutte le macchie sono sparite così come il gonfiore sul volto. Tuttavia, il mio organismo è rimasto molto sensibile e debilitato.
Infatti, dopo qualche giorno in cui stavo quasi bene (niente macchie) ho notato un nuovo fenomeno di rossore apparire in vari punti del mio corpo.
- Per sicurezza, le confermo che da quando mi sono accorto della reazione di intolleranza fino quasi a oggi, ho cercato di seguire una specie di dieta per evitare di aumentare l'infiammazione, fra l'altro ho iniziato a consumare solo prodotti senza glutine, uova, grano o lattosio; ho rimosso alcool e cerco di non mangiare cibi confezionati o merendine. - Questo nuovo rossore, però, è ben diverso dal precedente. Mentre il primo si concentrava sul collo sotto forma di macchie rosse di forma allungata, in questo caso, prima ho notato dei puntini (tipo eritema) sui polsi e sui fianchi (dalle ascelle fino alla vita); poi in alcuni punti sopra-cutanei il rossore ha preso forma di cerchietti di varie dimensioni (0.5-1-2 cm diametro) che aumentano di colore e che sono al tatto secche e/o raggrinzite, come se la pelle si stesse seccando. A volte prudono, a volte no. Se mi gratto, diventano più rosse, si allargano e basta poco perché sanguinino (solo qualche goccia). All'inizio ho applicato la crema al cortisone di cui sopra e sembrava fare un po' di effetto. Queste 'cose' si rimpicciolivano lievemente per magari un giorno, salvo poi riaffiorare se non ripetevo l'operazione per tempo. Visto che, a quanto ne so, non è bene utilizzare gli antibiotici come il cortisone in maniera prolungata, mi sono rivolto al medico locale, che, se non lo sa, non è il "mio medico curante", ma è il primo medico disponibile per un appuntamento fra quelli che al momento lavorano presso il centro clinico del mio quartiere; ogni volta è uno diverso. Costui, durante la solita visita "lampo" di 5-8 minuti, dopo avergli spiegato tutti i sintomi dettagliatamente (incluso il rash precedente) e avendo mostrato il rossore, mi ha prescritto solamente un sapone liquido ed una crema dopobagno 'delicati' ed un'altra scatoletta di antistaminici in caso ne avessi bisogno. Solo dietro mia insistenza ha acconsentito a farmi fare un prelievo di sangue, anticipando, però che, sfortunatamente, non è politica del S.S.N. effettuare test allergici su pazienti adulti. Così che non so proprio che cosa aspettarmi, né, tantomeno, che cosa fare, se, come presagisco per esperienza pregressa, mi diranno che non ho nulla e che sto bene!
È in questa circostanza che ricorro alla sua consulenza ed esperienza per cercare di farmi un'idea di che male mi affligga e di come curarlo, quei due semplici compiti che dovrebbero costituire il lavoro dei medici, ma che quelli locali non sembrano essere, però, affatto in grado di fare: non sanno mai che cosa uno abbia, loro 'pensano' e 'credono' che 'forse', 'chissà' ... e ti lasciano sempre più agitato e spaventato di quanto non fossi prima!
Aggiungo qui un paio di dati importanti: questa forma di rossore è la stessa che mi appare in forma di chiazza di 10 cm di diametro sulla coscia destra ogni anno a partire dalla primavera, ma che poi solitamente sparisce durante i mesi freddi. La chiazza mi è iniziata ad apparire quando ancora andavo a scuola, prima sulla coscia sinistra e poi soltanto su quella destra. E non appariva necessariamente neanche tutti gli anni. Infatti, quando venni da lei, a Milano, e mi visitò non credo l'avessi, altrimenti ne avremmo parlato. Questa volta però si è fatta più ampia e anche più rossa, durante e dopo il primo rash (da uovo). Un' altra cosa che abbiamo notato con mia moglie (metà della sua famiglia sono infermieri a vari livelli di specializzazione e pertanto ha qualche conoscenza medica in più di me) è che i puntini sui fianchi (dalle ascelle alla vita) potrebbero essere dati dalla mia alta sudorazione e dalla mia pelle delicata. Da ultimo, il prurito e conseguente rossore è minimo o sotto controllo durante il sonno e al mattino, ma aumenta poi durante il pomeriggio - sera; quando mi lavo con i prodotti indicatimi dal medico il rossore inizialmente aumenta, anzi, addirittura, ieri si è espanso fino a tutto il collo, laddove prima dell'utilizzo degli stessi c'erano solo alcune macchie sporadiche, e per assicurarmi che passi prendo un antistaminico. Infine, per darle modo di farsi un quadro più chiaro della situazione le allego alcune delle foto che giorno per giorno mi faccio per controllare come sto.
Spero sia in grado di aiutarmi, anche se a distanza, e nel caso fosse necessario pagare una consulenza virtuale, sono ben disposto in questo senso perché so di potermi fidare della sua esperienza e professionalità.

I apologize for the long silence and I hope you are well.
Even though it is not clear yet what kind of illness afflicts my wife (we think it might be diverticulitis), the local doctors gave her a “therapy” of laxatives and fluidifiers, that together with the resting (as later imposed by the lockdown) had some sort of effect for a while, even if the illness has not been actually treated, and now it has resurfaced again. Since we are still at home, it is not a major issue: my wife rests and tries to follow a diet rich in fibres and liquids, which can help reducing the inflammation. In the meanwhile, I did suffer a relapse in my intolerance to raw egg white.
To tell the truth, I asked for it: my wife prepared tiramisu and only why she was at it she realised that the egg does not get cooked at all and remains raw. Considering that, since the episode for which you treated me, I have not had any more problems to consume it, even if always and only in a limited manner and well cooked, I could not resist myself, and I devoured a good portion of it. Even though I took the precaution of drinking plenty of water in order to purify my organism, I have not been very lucky and the day after (already a month ago) I started sneezing. Thinking, at first, that I had got a cold, I treated it as such for a couple of days; then, as it was not going away and having noticed a light redness and swelling over the face, I realised it was an allergy or a reaction of some kind, and I took an antihistaminic. Though the latter managed to halt immediately the sneezing, it did not have any substantial effect on the redness, which, instead, increased and spread to the neck in the form of spots.
As I was not able to get an appointment with my doctor (due to the coronavirus emergency) I asked to the pharmacist, who recommended me to continuing with the antihistaminic and who prescribed me a Hydrocortisone cream to apply on the redness. After about a week both the spots and the swelling of the face disappeared. Nevertheless, my organism remained very sensitive and weak.
In fact, after a few days, during which I was almost well (no spots), I noticed a new phenomenon of redness appearing on several parts of my body.
- To be sure, let me reassure you that since the day I noticed the intolerance reaction until almost today, I tried to follow a sort of diet in order to avoid increasing the inflammation; among other things, I began consuming only products free from gluten, eggs, wheat or lactose; I stopped consuming alcohol and tried not to eat any processed food or snack. – This new redness, however, is very different from the previous one. Whereas the former was predominantly on the neck and in form of red stretched spots, in this case, first I noticed some dots (like an erythema) on my wrists and on my sides (from the armpits down to the waist line); then in some points, above the skin, the redness took form of circular shapes of a variety of dimensions (0.5-1-2 cm of diameter), of increased brightness and which are at touch dry and / or wrinkled, like the skin was drying up. Sometimes they itch, sometimes they don’t. If I scratch them, they become redder, they increase in size and it takes little to make them bleed (just a few drops, though). At first, I applied the Hydrocortisone cream I mentioned above, and it had a bit of effect. These “things” would get smaller maybe for a day and would then reappear if had not repeated the operation soon enough. Since, as far as I know, cortisone should not be used prolongedly, I contacted the local doctor, which, if you do not know it, is not “my doctor”, but he is the first practitioner available for an appointment amongst those which, at present, work at the medical centre of my neighbourhood; each time is a different one. This guy, during the usual “blitz” appointment of 5-8 minutes, after having explained all my symptoms in details (including the previous rash) and having shown him the redness, prescribed me only a “delicate” liquid soap and a “delicate” after shower cream and another box of antihistaminic in case I needed them. Only behind my insistence, he agreed to check my blood test, anticipating, however, that, unfortunately, it is not NHS policy to do allergy tests on adult patients. That means I do not really know what to expect, nor, least of all, what to do, if, as I predict due to previous experience, they will tell me that I do not have anything and that I am very well indeed!
It is in these circumstances that I recur to your consultation and experience to try to understand what illness afflicts me and how to treat it, those two simple tasks that should constitute the job of the doctors, but that the locals do not seem at all able to perform: they never know what one has got, they ‘think’ and ‘believe’ that ‘maybe’, ‘perhaps’ … and they always manage to leave you more agitated and worried than how you were before!
I add here a few important information: this kind of redness is the same that appears as a big stain of 10 cm of diameter on my right thigh every year since the beginning of the spring, but that, then, usually disappears during the cold months. The stain began appearing when I was still at school, first on the left thigh and then only on the right one. And it did not even necessarily appear every year, in fact when I came to you, in Milan, and you visited me, I don’t think I had it, else we would have talked already about it. This time, however, it became larger and redder, both during and following the first rash (due to the egg). Another thing me and my wife noticed (half of her family are nurses at several levels of specializations and so she has some more medical knowledge than I do) is that the dots on the sides (from the armpits to the waist line) could be due to my high sweating and to my sensitive skin. Lastly, the itching and consequent redness is minimal or under control during the sleep and in the morning, but it picks up throughout the afternoon and the evening; when I wash myself with the products prescribed me by the doctor, the redness initially increases, actually, yesterday it even spread throughout all of the neck, whereas prior to its usage there were just a few sporadic stains, and to ensure it goes way I take the antihistamine. Finally, to give you a clearer picture of the situation I have enclosed a few snapshots that I take day after day in order to monitor how I feel.
