Bio
I interpret/translate in the following language combinations:
Latvian > English
English > Latvian
Russian > English
Russian > Latvian.

As I possess a bachelor degree in business administration, specialty of international economic relations - this was my main field of activity when I started translating and interpreting. Later on, I started working with legal texts and little by little they have become one of my areas of specialization as well.

I acquired two MA degrees in 2011 - one in conference interpreting (University of Latvia) and the other in legal linguistics (Riga Graduate School of Law).

I see myself more as an interpreter and the biggest part of my work involves interpreting. However I try to keep a healthy balance of both - translating and interpreting.
