I see though that "forskningsperson" is translated occasionally as "researcher" and not what I've said so it would be nice if a Swede or others could confirm or contest my suggestion

agree  Agneta Pallinder: Particularly with last note. Academic texts often use forskningsobjekt as the subject (not a person) of their research. Ethical Board forms, on the other hand, specify that forskningsperson and forskningsobjekt are the same.
