Swedish term or phrase: profilfråga
What would be the most appropriate translation of "profilfråga" in this context?

"Precisionsodling och biologisk eller termisk utsädesbehandling är exempel på profilfrågor för organisationen."

I understand it as "issues while profile the organisation", but is there a nicer way to say this?

Thanks in advance,
/Richard

Explanation:
"profile issues affecting the organisation" is how I'd use it. Though I still don't quite see *how* these issues affect them in terms of their profile, so perhaps there's more to it than that?

Explanation:
I believe it's the same term. I think in Swedish the word profil has more of a negative meaning, but in English it's more common in the sense that you want to find out about a company's values and ethics, and in this case, what their position is on conventional vs. organic farming.

agree  Lene Johansen: "key issues that are the foundation of the organizations public image" would probably be how we would put it in English. I would not use any of the literal translations, as this word is a Scandinavian PR construct. It is not found in non-profit PR in US.

Explanation:
I'll offer this variation, tho profile issue is likely your first choice. If this is a 'mission statement' or similar, these guys are likely raising their profile. If this is a general discussion of high priority issues (another possiblity) then you might want my suggestion(s).
