This is from a report on the effect on student learning of remote teaching during Covid.
I have strong feeling that there is a specific term in English but dictionary search has failed so far.

: Overlearning has a negitive connotation to it. I still feel 'repition' is more neutral.

It’s a standard term in the psychology of learning. No negative connotation.

quantity training/learning
Quantity rather than quality, particularly now when children are home-schooled due to the corona lock-downs.
Also used in sports to emphasise the volume of training.
Also used in sports to emphasise the volume of training.
Example sentence:
Quantity – Have your children read a wide variety of good books from children books, chapter books, fiction, historical fiction, cultural, biographies etc. Let them choose what they want to read, but read everyday.
slower/longer training sessions (Quantity) versus shorter/faster training sessions (Quality)

Discussion
Very familiar with the term from pedagogy/foreign language teaching (repetitive drills).
But I was hoping that someone on ProZ would say - yeah, that is of course "xxx".
You don't actually say what it means in Swedish although I suspect you have a good idea. Can you tell us what it means to you as a native Swede?
Thanks
