Asker: Grazie a voi, ho utilizzato asta perché non specifica altro. Per punta direi di no perché parla anche di puntas e di brocas e già ho dei problemi a distinguere tra le due. Grazie a entrambi per il suggerimento

agree  PIETRO SFERRINO: Credo anche io si possa dire "astina". Anche se io forse userei comunque la parola "punta" (le punte tradizionali si dicono "brocas"). ma parlando di un trapano: "astine"? Mmm. Non so! Non hai una foto? Se è un trapano vero usa "punta", se no, ok "asta":)

  -> Grazie Pietro. Ho aggiunto "astina" dato che in un sito (è presente il link nella mia risposta) veniva proprio utilizzato questo diminutivo in relazione alla sua dimensione ridotta.
