In un romanzo messicano trovo la seguente descrizione di un materasso:

Magnífico colchón con ciento cincuentaicuatro resortes de acero templados en aceite, acabado americano sin cordón, cajón acolchado, agarraderas de seda, cuatro ventillas de plástico, treintainueve bastas de cada lado amarradas con botones tipo ancla y a un precio de ciento veintinueve pesos.

Non riesco a capire cosa siano le "cuatro ventillas de plástico".
