Spanish term

Furgan

Spanish to English Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping Ecuador
Document from Ecuador contains a list of vehicles
Marca HINO Clase CAMION Tipo FURGAN

I don't think it's a typo for "FURGON" because there are multiple "FURGAN" entries--but maybe it's a variant?

A similar entry has Tipo PLATAFORMA, which I've got as "flatbed."

Hoping someone familiar with this term can shed some light on it for me.

Thanks in advance.

I agree with Phil They're trucks.

At Hino, we are addressing that change and transformation through continuing innovation on behalf of the Toyota Group in large commercial vehicles.

If you search for "Hino furgón" on Google Images, they look like small trucks rather than vans.

Furgan Most likely a typo or variant for "furgon", which in UK English I would call a van. In a Google search for "furgan", the second reference I got was for a page selling used vans: https://www.milanuncios.com/furgonetas-de-segunda-mano/furga...
