Spanish term or phrase: remate (rematar) plese read context below
Under "production" in the "ensamble" category, among several others instructions it includes:

Rematar y revisar
Acomodo final

And for another style of guayabera, he instructions under "ensamble" read:

Remate de hilos manga larga

In my sewing glossary, "remate" can mean both "backtrack", "edging" and in other sources, it can means "finishing" to "to finish". Within the document the words "afinar" and "terminar" are already used to mean "finish" so I'm uncertain what this translates to.

English translation:Finish off/ fasten off
Explanation:
For the first example, "Rematar y revisar", I think "finish off" would work. For "Remate de hilos manga larga", fastening off is more specific.

This is crochet but same idea:

Even though "terminar" is used elsewhere, "finish off" is more about adding the final touches, cutting and concealing the thread ends.

To end a stitch

Explanation:
While you can use "finish off", you could also consider "to end a stitch".

Example sentence(s):
  • You can end your stitch by making a loop and threading the needle through.
