deformational leveling Explanation: this is just a straight literal translation but nothing was coming up regarding the phrase as a whole, and in the examples of usage I could find regarding the field it seemed pretty straight forward as is. It doesn't seem to be a set phrase and it doesn't ring bells in English either, but unless someone knows exactly what it is I guess it's probably close enough |
