Spanish term or phrase: útil de calibración
I'm having trouble understanding the "útil" part. Seems like a noun is missing (like aparato). I think it might be something to do with "serviceability" or "utilization", but my head remains spinning. The subject matter of the document is "Desarrollo e integración de Sensores en Mástil y SCOMBA" (involving EMC testing, etc.) for military defense in Spain. Here are several examples from the source document:

- El montaje del útil de calibración y de los equipos de pruebas se detalla en la Figura YYY de la
norma XXX.

- La corriente en el conductor central del útil de calibración se monitorizará en el osciloscopio.

- Se medirá la corriente en el conductor central del útil de calibración

English translation:calibration tool/device
Explanation:
"Útil" as a noun can refer to a utensil or tool, so perhaps it's a "device" here.

"útil
...
1. m. Utensilio destinado a un uso manual o a una actividad profesional. U. m. en pl. Útiles de aseo, de labranza."
