In the screenplay that takes place in an Argentine submarine in the 70s, this is term the technicaian uses when, after quite a struggle, he has managed to balance out the vessel (which has seen better days). It seems more technical than the obvious "balanced out" or corrected,
it is just one lines of dialogue:
