Medical - Medical (general) / Discharge report
Spanish term or phrase: F/E
Hi all :)

I came across this in an A&E discharge report, in the Exploración section. The person has been admitted due to pain in the lumbar region. Here's the context:

"Exploración
A. L DOLOR EN REGIÓN LUMBAR A LA MOVILIZACIÓN DE TRONCO EN F/E."

The forward slash is rather disconcerting and has thrown me off a little. I can't find anything that fits, it could possibly be a typo as the document is riddled with them but
I would appreciate your thoughts.

The report was issued in Spain and the target audience is in the UK.

Many thanks for your help,

Nisah

Plus, F/E works in English as well. Lots of examples online of flexion-extension sentences that include the abbreviation F/E

Example sentence(s):
  • " La relación entre músculos agonistas y antagonistas Flexión-Extensión (F/E) fue de un 66% en la primera evaluación realizada (Gráfico 1), ... "
