Spanish term or phrase: delimitación ortográfica
This is from an eye-tracking study on reading words containing derivational suffixes. I really am not quite sure what the autor means here. "delimitación ortográfica only has three hits on Google, none of which are much help.

orthographic delimitation
Explanation:
Okay, so there aren't many hits for it on Google, but for such a specialised, recondite linguistic term, that not surprising.
"For example, "retrogressive assimilation" only gets about 300.

A related term, "orthographic boundary", also gets very few hits on Google (roughly 200).

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks, Neil. In the end I have just put orthographic delimitation, despite not really knowing what it means. Perhaps it just means the word's spelling. Who knows? I have just finished 7000 words of this!

agree  philgoddard: I'm not really clear what this means, which is probably the author's fault, but it seems the obvious translation.

-> Spanish linguists bang on about stuff like this all the time. I don't really see the point of much of it myself.
