Spanish term or phrase: memoria de registro / registro
Hi all,

Could someone please confirm that this should be "record memory", I'm a bit unsure as it could also be "log memory", "registry memory", amongst others. The client has told me that all instances of "registro" (which is the term giving me cause for doubt) are the same, but didn't explain the meaning.

Some examples, the text is just a load of alphabetically organised strings, so not much context I'm afraid:

"Borrado de memoria de registro cancelado con errores"
"¿Desea sobrescribir el registro %3 con el registro %4?"
"El registro %1 del archivo %2 no existe."

Thanks for any help.

I've seen that a similar term exists in the glossary, but I'm not convinced by "trapbuffer" for my context.

A processor register (CPU register) is one of a small set of data holding places that are part of the computer processor. A register may hold an instruction, a storage address, or any kind of data (such as a bit sequence or individual characters). Some instructions specify registers as part of the instruction.

Asker: Thanks for your help Patricia, TBH I don't know which is more appropriate, but the client asked for "record".....
