Art/Literary - Computers (general) / Comic book translation
Spanish term or phrase: Identificador de la compra
It is two lines of text:

Identificador de la compra
Identificador de la preautorización

I'm thinking it is confirmation as in "transaction processed" or "purchase processed" etc.

Any help is appreciated.

English translation:Purchase ID
Explanation:
I believe it refers to a number or code assigned to the purchase/transaction. One option could be "Purchase/transaction ID", but you could even use "number" or "code" if you are sure it's one of those.

Good luck!

Reference: Not "ID"....

Reference information:
Identificador de la compra = Purchase Identifier. Code used to identify the purchase to the issuer and cardholder.

Personally, I wouldn't use "ID" as the abbreviation in this context, as ID = identity document. The term "identifier" is common in software contexts.

neutral  philgoddard: Strictly speaking it does stand for identity document, but it's very widely used to mean identity. "Do we have an ID on the killer yet" doesn't mean do we have his passport or driver's licence :-)

-> Slack premise. I prefer to retain a smidgeon of formality. I also distinguish between "ID" and "Id.", as the latter is commonplace in software development.
