"Debe" is very Spanish and if translated as "must"comes across as rather bossy. English prefers "Please..." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 50 mins (2018-06-04 10:31:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- The problem with "alta" is its polysemy. It is widely used in Spanish to mean registration/authorization/inscription/subscription... etc. So the problem resides in knowing which one to choose in which situation. The same goes for its counterpart "baja"; in IT and EDI contexts, I've been using "deregister", but in other scenarios I might prefer something like "cancel". Example sentence(s):
