Pamiętajmy, że ilość przepisanego leku należy określić cyframi arabskimi poprzez podanie liczby opakowań oznaczonych adnotacją „op” lub „lag” oraz wielkości opakowania jednostkowego poprzedzonej słowem „po” lub „á”. Innym wariantem jest podanie sumarycznej liczby odpowiednio oznakowanych (np. „amp”, „kaps”, „tabl”) jednostek dawkowania.
