Norwegian term or phrase: skinnebrud
"åpne skinnebrud som behandles med oppborret sperrenagle" I have one sentence in Norwegian in what is a Swedish letter about pharmaceutical testing - my guess it something to do with broken bones, but... help!

Explanation:
I'm pretty sure "skinnebrud" should read "skinnebensbrudd" (with double d at end). If you look at the link below (search for skinnebensbrud) you'll find a sentence the same as the one you quote. And "open tibial fracture" has 805 Google hits.

Of course I meant search for skinnebensbrudd.

Thanks Don - I think you're right. There were other typos in the text as well (Norwegian written by a Swede).
