neutral  Cristina Di Bartolo: perdón, pero a mi entender o que está entremetido es el corto fragmento anfipático (concretamente entre el S5 y el S6), y no los segmentos. Habría que girar la frase. Singular o plural no importa, sino que los dos significados son complementarios

Explanation:
Creo que la preposicion "da" (que introduce el agente en la voz pasiva) esta indicando que el S5 y el S6 estan separados (o que a mitad de ellos esta', fra di loro) por el segmento amarillo. En mi opinion traducir como entremetidos comunicaria la idea que los dos segmentos, S5 y S6 estan juntos, situados entre otros dos sujetos. Y creo que la idea aqui seria la opuesta, o sea que NO estan juntos, asi que yo iria por "separados" o mejor, "intercalados"
