Explanation:
the supplier/vendor name is used as a key/link when the data is retrieved from the ERP

this is sloppy language as the earlier ones, but I guess it won't be impossible to say data is "behind" a text even in English, especially if it has a hyperlink to the data

and kytkentä refers to name linked to the ERP

Good question. I gave a thought for it, and it seems to me that they use toimittajanimike as a name, but I suggest you should check that from the context. At least in this system the screenshot shows "nimi" while the instructions mention toimittajanimike https://support.netvisor.fi/fi/support/solutions/articles/77...
