Ltd and partnership (commandite) company Explanation: Kuljetus is transport, not surname. OY is the Finnish equivalent of a Limited (Ltd) company... limited by shares. KY is a commandite company, or a limited partnership... it is, in effect a "hybrid partnership and corporation. At least one partner must have unlimited liability, while the liability of the limited partners is limited to the amount of capital subscribed." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 37 mins (2006-04-19 22:18:48 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Now, Peltola and Toikka can be surnames, but also place names. In effect, it's Peltola Transport Ltd and maybe Transport-Toikka & Co. ....just throwing this out there, if you like it you can keep it, if you don't you can throw it right back. |
