Hi,

Does anyone have an idea about how to translate "kuperoitua" in the following context (from a pharmaceutical information sheet)?

"Jos [lääke X]:n annoksesta on jo kulunut 12 tuntia, protamiinin anto ei välttämättä ole tarpeen. [Lääke X] ei kuperoidu protamiinilla yhtä hyvin kuin [lääke Y]."

Translation:
"If 12 hours have elapsed from the dosing of [medicine X], there is not necessarily any need to administer protamine. [medicine X] does not [???] with protamine as well as [medicine Y]"

The only further background information I have is that protamine is a chemical antagonist of medicines [x] and [y] above.
