'splinter group' and 'proxy' (as used in example below) ”ٹوٹا ہوا حصہ” اور ”بالواسطہ جنگ” Explanation: "Hakoomat X nay B k khitay main Y hakoomat say bil-wasta jung lrnay k liyai askiriat pasandon ko tor k kr aik nya hisa bnaya." I believe that in order to make a sentence easy and understandable we should "open up" the terms used in a source sentence. Though often "proxy war" is transliterated in Urdu but "bil-wasta jung" is the easiest and nearest translation. Example sentence(s):
